it wasn’t difficult to get warmed up with this lovely girl. she’s sweet and outgoing, making us feel so comfortable at our first meeting. we got to commend her for her courage to try all those difficult poses we requested. :))

Bodycon dresses are all in the rage now, and we think they should be listed as a classic soon. Who don’t love dresses that makes them look slim and svelte? This piece here does everything a bodycon dress should do. Hides the tummy, brings out the curves and what’s more? made of very comfortable material!!

Autumn / Winter season is coming and knitted wears are up next in the trend.

You might think it’s crazy to wear them in Singapore, but hey! we know that lecture halls and offices are places that are freezing cold.. so don them as throwovers :) look casual yet not so simple and sloppy in them.

After a three months worth of hardwork, tears and blood (okay, not literally),  finally… it’s out.

This piece, is our first manufactured label. We took the pains to alter the measurements to fit, choosing the best fabric with our principal of not compromising its quality because of the price, and chasing the supplier the umpteen times to deliver the goods promptly.

We were delighted to see the finished product, like a first mum.

But little did we know, what lies ahead of us was a series of unfortunate events, or should we say, we have truly witness the ugly side of a business(wo)man. Mercenary, untrustworthy, no business ethics.

And the story goes like this..

After the time spent altering the measurements and cut, choosing the material, she promised goods to be delivered in tip top condition.

Well, it did arrive on time. As it was in a batch that was difficult to scrutinize piece by piece, she promised that if there are any defects, we can returned to her for an exchange. And there and then, we spotted a piece that was ironed badly. She told us to try washing the clothes and let her know if the marks/stains can’t be removed.

So we did as accordingly. But Kyen’s parents, who have had experiences with fabric and cloth advised us that such marks cannot be removed despite the numerous washings. Iron marks on SATIN CANNOT BE REMOVED. (now it makes us wonder, how can a supplier not know this fact? ) The heat for those industrial iron is too high for the material to take, and it leaves a mark – SHINY and looks a teeny weeny melted. Some even have zip marks on them! For those who have such experience, will understand how exactly this works. And it’s not because the satin material is soft, filmsy and low graded, it’s the nature of satin.

We confronted her with those defective pieces of ALMOST the entire batch. It was only after much screamings and false accusations and everything else (WE’RE STILL FUMING MAD WHENEVER WE ARE REMINDED OF THIS), she agreed to change the batch. We received a new batch after, in excellent condition.

Case close? NO.

Recently, we found out that she has SOLD those defective pieces to other people (how many? we really do not know!) Yes, we are upset that it wouldn’t be exclusive to us anymore, but that’s not the point! The point is that HOW CAN SHE DO THAT?! We are shocked that she actually sold them the defective pieces and probably told them the same stuff she tried to smoke through us. It’s certainly not acceptable. We have already decided to stop working with her the moment she showed her true colors. As for other sellers who have gotten this design for your collections, we’re terribly sorry that we are unable to contact you regarding this issue as we really have no idea how many she has sold and who is selling them. But do drop us a mail if you’re got queries about it yeah? Also, we have no intentions to bring down your shop by saying you are selling defective stuff. It’s just that all these are too much of a coincidence to be true. We did get someone to enquire and it’s a fact that she did keep those defective pieces with her, and is willing to let go to those who wants them. Please understand from our position.

You may like to ask us, how do you know the pieces she sold are ours? Because the second batch has measurements different from the first and we have compared to realize those belong to the old batches.

Mmm to some, satin stains may not be a defect. But we certainly do feel that it’s very unglam to wear a top with iron marks and patches all over, and of course, we do care about the quality of clothes we sell although for some, we can’t really control them :(

As such, we are selling this gorgeous piece at its cost price inclusive of postage fees.

Having to grumble everything here, we understand this is part and parcel of running a business too. Definitely an insight and unforgettable experience for both of us.

And of course, we do not want to waste our breath reasoning out with people whom does not have this word in her dictionary, so we are graciously dropping this matter as we prefer to channel our energy to working something else better for KYRSTELLA!  More house labels are on the way…

We’ve been caught up with work and Kyrstella with hardly any time for sleep. But all’s worthwhile because we have seen how supportive and encouraging you girls have been. :)

And we are glad that you girls like them as much as we do. Most items are specially picked and sourced locally and overseas. No more worries about bumping into another girl wearing the same thing as you!

More office wear are now launched in our current collections, as well as our upcoming ones. But of course, we are not forgetting those who love girly dresses or casual pieces.

And a piece of great news for you…. our very first piece of manufactured label has arrived. We have ordered a quantity just enough to not disappoint all of you, yet limited to retain its exclusivity. No backorders as well, so do grab it before it’s gone! It’ll be most likely up on our new collection, so do stay tune for more :)
